Committees at Work

Advancing Our Mission Through Collaborative Leadership

INCHWA's committees bring together Community Health Workers and cross-sector partners to strengthen Indiana's Community Health Worker workforce. By ensuring the voices of frontline CHWs, employers, educators, healthcare organizations, public health agencies, funders, policymakers, researchers, and community partners are represented, our committees develop practical solutions that advance workforce development, sustainability, and improved working conditions. This page provides updates on each committee's work and reflects our commitment to transparency, collaboration, and shared leadership.

Committee Development Stages

INCHWA develops committees through a phased process to ensure thoughtful planning, meaningful engagement, and effective leadership.

Development in Progress
Internal planning is underway to define the committee's purpose, scope, leadership, and strategic priorities.

Now Forming
Membership is open as Community Health Workers and cross-sector partners come together to shape the committee's direction, priorities, and work plan.

Seasonal
Time-limited committees are convened to support specific events, projects, or strategic initiatives and conclude when their objectives have been achieved.

Together, we build trusted relationships that result in lasting change—rooted in equity, driven by impact, and centered on the voices of the communities we serve.
